Love the marbled and textured look of this amphibian creature, I don't believe I have seen on like it before, and with many other two headed creatures born to nature, at least one seems to have its own purpose, in the sea, David. I am very pleased to make this special FEATURE, on our homepage of the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery Homepage. It is of the highest quality and integrity and this piece of artwork is very well deserving of high accolades by all members of FAA! I am proud to display and promote your grand artworks, and am very happy to have you as a member of our family of friends and fine artists within our WFS group. Liked Forever, Elvis

David Lawson replied:

Thanks Randy. I'm proud to be a new member of the WFS group.

Artist's Description

This image of a two headed turtle was caused by the sunlight hitting the ocean water at the Kailua-Kona, Hawaii pier. The refracted light caused the distortions to a perfectly normal turtle.

About David Lawson

David Lawson

Creativity and adventure have been the 2 central themes of my life. My parents took my 2 older brothers and me on many car day trips and also 2-3 week long summer vacations where we camped, hiked, swam, and explored the parks and forests of the West. At an early age I learned to love the beauty of nature and to see what was around the next bend in the trail or road. Since I was a young teen a camera went with me just about everywhere including my career as a landscape contractor in California and now as a gardener in Hawaii. My wife Diane and I love to explore the Big Island, the other Hawaiian islands, the mainland and the world capturing memories in photos, so please keep coming back to see new ones.
